About the event
Abolition is love. It's also a word we've been hearing a lot lately. Yet abolition has deep historical roots, indigenous and Black roots.
Join us on SATURDAY, February 14th at 1pm for a little creative teach-in to learn more about abolition and abolitionist practices. Please sign up via our website.
We'll be focusing on the justice lineages of Harriet Tubman, Fannie Lou Hamer, and Mariame Kaba and the imaginative rehearsals for freedom in the work of Octavia Butler. Ultimately, we want to be part of continuing to lovingly nourish our collective capacity to dream, mobilize, and organize toward abolition and community care.
