About the event
Join us for a free, community-centered workshop rooted in writer Nicole “Cole” Nfonoyim-Hara’s own creative process and her current work on a speculative fiction novel reimagining ancestral pasts and legacies.
This generative writing workshop invites participants to explore the mythical, ancestral, speculative, and fantastical as tools for liberation, dreaming, and world-building on the page and in our communities.
Cole is a fiscal year 2025 recipient of a Creative Individuals grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation by the Minnesota State Legislature; and by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
